Electronic Arts has confirmed when football fans can experience Madden NFL 22 and some content first. August has arrived, and for sports fans, this means that the NFL preseason is finally here. The NFL regular season begins on September 9th only one month, followed by vibrant summer and fall, which will end in 2021. Madden NFL 22 was released on August 20, before the start of the NFL, but for those who are not willing to wait, EA has now confirmed the release date of Madden NFL 22 Early Access.
EA offers two different levels of content through its EA Play and EA Play Pro subscriptions, both of which include early access to upcoming games. Early access for Madden NFL 22 will begin on August 12th and follow all the typical rules of EA Play Early Access. This means that subscribers will have a total of 10 hours of Early Access and can try Madden NFL 22 before launch. Anything other than that means waiting for a full release on August 20.
As part of the early access of the Madden NFL 22 announcement, EA drew attention to some of the content available to EA Play subscribers. Of particular mention are the exclusive Madden Ultimate Team challenges, which will disappear when the full game arrives on August 20. Completing these EA Play challenges will reward players with 1,000 Madden 22 Coins, Tom Brady or Patrick Maholmes Power Up Pack, Elite 80+ OVR WR Fantasy Pack and exclusive EA Play Power Up artwork.
Otherwise, as part of the preview, Madden NFL 22 players will have access to most of the full content of the game. On the one hand, this includes the Madden football gameplay that players expect, as well as the Dynamic Gameday franchise function. On the other hand, this includes the Madden Ultimate Team activity mode, which allows players to play the entire NFL season with their own team, and its return to Team Affinity.
